Build your own 30 HP, 230V, 3-Phase Rotary Phase Converter using this complete DIY kit. Designed to power:
- A 15 HP, 230V, 3-Phase motor at full power, or
- A 20 HP, 3-Phase motor at near full capacity using 230V single-phase power.
What's Required
All you need is a 30 HP, 230V, 3-Phase motor (1750 or 3500 RPM, new or used) to act as the idler motor (your 3-phase generator). This motor creates the third leg of power necessary for true 3-phase output.
