Regenerative Drives are used in many appications where you need the Motor to move in both directions without Electromechanical Contactors and pump back power to the Power Company during Decelaration or when stoping.

Its 4 quadrants operation allows the motor to operate in both directions at full power, it can replace servomotors in many applications.
