Static Phase Converters are designed to run 3-Phase 230VAC Motors with Single 230VAC Phase Power, this means Inexpensive 3-phase power for Home Workshops and Industrial use to run 3-Phase Motors where only 220VAC single phase power is available.

3-Phase Motors use less current than Single Phase Motors, This enables the use of higher HP motors where previously not thought possible. Designed for light to medium loads.

Static Phase Converters will ONLY give 60% of the Motor's Rated HP!

Do not buy a bigger Static Phase Converter thinking that it will give you more power for your motor. Static Phase Converters are only good for the HP they are designed for!

The converter must match your Motor's HP and to be in the range of your motor's HP! Otherwise you'll have problems starting your motor if it is bigger or smaller than your motor's HP and it will NOT work!

WARNING

TO USE A STATIC PHASE CONVERTER WITH AN AIR COMPRESSOR, WATER PUMP, ETC; THE MOTOR’S PULLEY MUST BE REDUCE 30% TO REMOVE 30% OF THE MOTOR’S LOAD, OR REPLACE THE MOTOR WITH A 50% BIGGER MOTOR.
