Static Phase Converters are designed to run 230VAC 3-Phase motors using single-phase 230VAC power.

 

This provides an affordable solution for powering 3-phase motors in home workshops and light industrial applications—where only 220–240V single-phase power is available. USA-made.

NOTE:

Static Phase Converters give only 60% of the motor’s rated HP.


IMPORTANT

 

Do not purchase an oversized Static Phase Converter thinking it will increase your motor’s power, they will NOT work.
Static converters must match the motor's HP rating to function correctly. If the converter is too large or too small, your motor may not start or may operate improperly.

Reduce the motor’s load by 30% (e.g., reduce the pulley size)
OR

Replace the motor with one that’s 50% larger than the current rating

 

This ensures reliable startup and operation under load.
