Build your own 5 HP, 230V, 3-Phase Rotary Phase Converter using standard 230V single-phase power.
This kit allows you to run:
- A 3 HP, 230V, 3-Phase motor at full power, or
- A 5 HP motor at near full capacity using single-phase input.
What's Required?
Just add a 5 HP, 230V, 3-Phase motor (1750 or 3500 RPM, new or used) to act as your idler/generator motor—it produces the third leg of power to simulate balanced 3-phase output.
