⚠️ IMPORTANT USAGE NOTES

 

·         Do not use an oversized or undersized converter!
A larger converter
will not give more power and may prevent startup, also a smaller converter will not work.


Static Phase Converters do not generate a true third phase. The motor must match the converter’s rated HP range for proper operation.

 

·         If your machine has a motor starter/contactor, the contactor coil must be powered by L1 & L2 (230 VAC).

 

·         Approved Uses Include:

 

o    Lathes (non-clutch type)

o    Milling machines

o    Drilling machines

o    Saws

o    Other machinery designed for light to moderate duty


⚠️ SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS for COMPRESSORS, PUMPS, AND FANS:

 

For motors powering air compressors, blowers, water pumps, or hydraulic pumps:

 

·         Reduce the motor’s pulley diameter by 1/3
OR

·         Use a motor that is 50% larger.

 

This ensures the motor starts under load and avoids overload or failure.

 

Reminder: Static Phase Converters will only provide approximately 60% of the motor’s rated horsepower.
