Anti-Plug (Zero Movement) Board, Mod. AAPB

 

This board is designed to ensure zero movement of the motor when stopped before changing direction of rotation. Therefore, motor direction control must be implemented using separate switches.

Zero motor movement is essential in applications where:

 

  • The machine is not constantly supervised by an operator, or
  • The  machine is automated and controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).

 

This board is compatible with DC Motor Speed Controls Mod. ASC2-5R or ASC3P2-5R or ASC3P2-7R, some extra components are needed as follows:

 

1. One, Normally Closed Switch (STOP)

2. Two, Normally Open (Momentary) Switches (START)

3. Two, 4 Pole double throw (4PDT) 115VAC Relays
